The prize, awarded by The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA, was today presented to David B. Bæk, PhD from Center of Ultrasound Imaging, DTU.
The Electro Prize 2012, awarded by The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA, was today presented to David B. Bæk, PhD from Center of Ultrasound Imaging, DTU.
David B. Bæk was nominated because of his significant contributions within the electrotechnical area at a very young age. His activities include research in relation to medical ultrasound and bioimpedance, innovation in relation to developing commercial products and inspiration and leadership.
He has shown an exceptional ability to combine theoretical and experimental work with practical engineering.
David Bæk is currently employed at Sense A/S, a startup company developing devices for cardiovascular diagnostics, where he was recently made Chief Technology Officer.
