This years' IEEE Rayleigh Award was awarded to DTU Health Tech professor at the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium in Glasgow.
In the opening session of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) International Ultrasonics Symposium 2019 in Glasgow, the very prestigious Rayleigh Award was presented to Professor Jørgen Arendt Jensen.
The price was awarded for his pioneering developments and outstanding contributions to advances in ultrasound imaging.
The IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency control society is the largest and most renowned society in the world within technical ultrasound.
